TMJ RESET is a simple and non-invasive technique that relaxes the jaw muscles, enabling the critical temporomandibular joint to reset and providing TMJ relief .
It was developed by Philip Rafferty (Founder of Kinergetics Kinesiology) as a simple way to balance the structure, energy and neurology of the muscles around the head and jaw.
Since 90% of the messages from the brain to rest of the body (and back) pass through the TMJ, this correction can have far-reaching effects. Imbalances in the TMJ affect the whole body.
This method has been found to effective for stress, hydration, pain, bruxism (involuntary clenching, grinding and gnashing of the teeth that usually happens during sleep), growing pains, digestion, insomnia, headaches, dental work, and knocks to head and jaw.
To complete a full sequence, it is recommended to complete two 45 minute sessions, at least one week apart.
Following on from these sessions, there are also shorter sessions for specific imbalances such as: locked jaw, learning problems, adrenal stress, sinuses, MS, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, clicking jaw, tinnitus, headaches, migraines and electromagnetic sensitivity.
